If you would love to learn how to drive a bus (or maybe you already can) and would like to take the next steps towards a career with us, we will provide the training so don’t worry if you have never driven anything the size of a bus before.
We employ some of the best and most experienced professional trainers in the industry – people who began their career as bus drivers and now have many years’ experience in helping people to achieve the Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) driving licence and fine tuning your customer service skills.
Our comprehensive programme starts with classroom type learning including PCV theory tests. Following this you’ll be trained on a training bus out on the road. You will gain experience of a wide range of environments, road types and traffic conditions.
There will be further training to familiarise you with our buses and systems, while fine tuning your customer service and disability awareness skills. This will help you gain your Driver Qualification Card which is required to be a bus driver.
During your first year there will be two extra days of formal training for your City & Guilds qualification which is a London-wide recognised qualification.
